Usefall
Perfection and Goodness
When we say something is perfect, what do we mean?
Perfection is viewed from an angle, in relation to some thing, in relation to a purpose, and under certain conditions or constraints.
Tiger
Everything is perfect, for a certain purpose.
That random pebble on the street is perfect (for a certain purpose.)
Leopard
Everything is imperfect, for a certain purpose.
The same pebble on the street is also imperfect (for another purpose.)
Tiger
Everything is perfect, under certain conditions.
The way you just spoke to me was perfect (given the time and energy required to achieve a purpose.)
Leopard
Everything is imperfect, under certain conditions.
The same words I said are also imperfect (given the time and energy required to achieve another purpose.)
Thus everything is perfect and imperfect at the same time.
When you want something to be perfect, think about purpose and constraints.
I wonder, do you even have the time to ponder?
